? Police are investigating a Dover Township cab company after a driver hit a pregnant woman, breaking both of her legs.
According to investigators, the woman, who also suffered a head injury, was crossing Warren Street when an Apple Limo driver ran into her. Police say witnesses told them the driver had the green light. No charges have been filed against Apple Limo. The company?s attorney says the driver is sorry and that he has volunteered to give blood and urine samples. The woman is in stable condition in the hospital.
Dover Township recently reinstated Apple Limo?s license to operate. Officials thought the company was operating without the required $500,000 insurance coverage. An investigation uncovered that the company paid for adequate coverage, but was defrauded.
