Winter may be gone, but that doesn't mean the flu bug has left as well.
Doctors at Montefiore Medical Center say there is still a chance to get the flu, even in the warmer weather. Dr. Iona Munjal, who practices at the center, says luckily people are coming in with type B influenza instead of type A. He says all that means is the flu is more mild.
Montefiore Medical Center officials say the week of April 5, there were 255 flu cases, and the highest number in January was 164.
Doctors say it's not too late to get a flu shot and urge anyone who hasn't to do so.
