A New Jersey artist and architect are teaming up to renovate an old, deteriorating factory site in Ewing.
Architect Jon Drezner and artist Ben Keating recently gained approval from the City Council to create a development with work and living space for artists. The development will also be open to Ewing Township residents for classes and for artists to show their work.
Lawmakers signed off on the plan in exchange for a new home for the Ewing Animal Shelter. Officials say they believe the changes will be positive for the neighborhood.
