A state police detective is facing charges after a deadly motorcycle crash in Burlington County. in 2023.
Det. Mark Campagna was off duty and driving an unmarked state police car when he began following a motorcyclist along Route 206, prosecutors said.
Court documents show Campagna trailed the motorcycle at speeds over 100 miles per hour without activating his emergency lights or siren.
The motorcyclist, a New York resident, later crashed and died.
A grand jury found Campagna endangered the victim.
