Swartswood State Park is closed for swimmers Sunday due to a suspected harmful algae bloom in the lake, the Department of Environmental Protection says.
The DEP says to not drink or have contact with the water, and to keep pets in mind. Swimming and watersports are included.
The department says if you are fishing nearby to release the fish back in the water and do not eat it.
The DEP says it doesn't know when the lake will be reopened.
