Demolition crews are already tearing down part of a Pearl River strip mall after Sunday's massive fire.
Fire officials say the reason for the quick demolition was to make sure the fire was totally out.
More than 100 firefighters from Rockland, Westchester and Bergen counties spent nearly 18 hours trying to put out the fire from Sunday afternoon until early Monday.
Officials say six firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but are expected to be OK.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
