Meth use is on the rise in South Jersey, according to the state division of the DEA.
Most of the meth that goes around the state is from Mexico and is very potent, officials say.
It's also been found in the western part of New Jersey and affects rural areas.
One reason for the increase in meth use is because it is used to combat heroin withdrawal symptoms. It is also inexpensive, officials say.
