Fair weather is now moving away from the eastern seaboard. This weather pattern brings a change in the wind direction. The air mass is more Carolina-like in nature so eventually we'll start to see things becoming milder over the next few days. Daytime highs climb into the mid- to upper-50s. Rain could be a nuisance Friday afternoon into the wee hours of Saturday morning. It certainly doesn't look like a soaking, but on-and-off showers for a Friday night aren't ideal date night weather.

The weekend looks like a 50/50 split. Saturday is cloudy but should remain rain-free. Sunday on the other hand looks like occasional showers with a possible coastal storm trying to emerge to not only deliver scattered rain for Sunday but could also try and deliver a wintry mix to parts of the tri-state area. (Read into that as WELL NORTH of Interstate 80 into the lower Hudson Valley and northern Connecticut.)
