Dave’s Forecast: Mostly sunny through the week; temps warm by Thursday

The weather is quiet this week, with no advisories, watches or warnings from the National Weather Service. The week starts off cold and then a nice little warmup at the end of the week.

TONIGHT: A few clouds possible otherwise mainly clear and chilly. Not as cold as Monday morning but seasonably chilly. Low: 39 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mainly sunny, breezy and chilly. High: 54 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny skies, but a touch cooler. High: 52 degrees.

THURSDAY: Winds shift. More favorable for a warmup plus sunny skies High: 62 degrees. (Normal is 55.)

FRIDAY: Overcast, warmer. High 65 degrees. Two systems look to converge on the state. Rain is expected late Friday into Saturday morning. Possibly a decent shot at rain in southern and coastal areas.

There is still plenty of time to iron out the details. Right now we are watching how the atmosphere evolves.
