The final month of the year is here and so is the unsettled weather. Sunshine will be limited as a series of weather systems slide across New Jersey. The rain will be an inconvenience. The weekend isn't a washout, but if you are planning on putting up holiday decorations, Saturday is the driest day.
TONIGHT: On and off showers through tonight. Lows range from 35 in North Jersey to the low-40s elsewhere.
SATURDAY: Mainly cloudy with hints of sunshine. A pretty OK day. Highs will be 4 to 8 degrees warmer than the norm. High: 56.
SUNDAY: Rain moves in again. Light showery weather from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. The rain becomes steadier and heavier between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
There will be a series of systems that will continue to spin through the state keeping the weather cloudy with occasional showers early next week. Each system will also continue to drag in cooler weather. By the middle of next week daytime highs will be in the low-40s and morning lows will be back in the 20s.
