The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for northwestern New Jersey
Warmer air is moving in over the ground that is still, in spots, covered with snow. This will allow dense fog to develop. Please be extra careful if you must travel around the state tonight. Visibility will drop frequently below a quarter mile.
TONIGHT: The weather will continue to deteriorate tonight. Not only will fog be a weather inconvenience, but the rain will slowly be moving in too.
Showers will become steadier overnight into tomorrow. Lows tonight will be warmer than where normal daytime highs for this time of year should be in the low-40s.
THURSDAY: Periods of rain and warmer. High around 56.
FRIDAY: Early showers turn into mainly cloudy skies through the afternoon. Highs near 50.
WEEKEND: Saturday is the better day. Partly sunny skies with highs around 50. Rain returns Sunday and the temperatures begin to cool off again. Highs around 43.
