Gusty winds continue into Tuesday night making it feel like the dead of winter. Warmer, but possibly wetter weather returns for the start of the weekend.
Wind gusts today nearly reached 40 mph, making it feel as if temperatures were in the upper-20s. Those winds continue into tonight as the temperatures plummet. Get ready for even colder wind chills waking up Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY: Mix of clouds and sun. Still a bit breezy, so the daily high of 39 feels 10 degrees colder.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT/THURSDAY: The winds begin to change direction Wednesday night. The clouds will start to move in as well. The result will be milder, more seasonable feeling air for Thursday, Friday and into the weekend.
FRIDAY/SATURDAY: Looks wetter. A system moves slowly towards the area. Rain likely develops Friday late morning and continues in an on-again off-again fashion until the overnight hours of Saturday morning.
The weekend is by no means a washout. In fact, the showery weather is likely tapering to sprinkles by Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon looks breezy and cloudy but dry.
