We aren't singing "The sun will come out tomorrow" just yet, but a brighter forecast is right around the corner.
TONIGHT: Still cloudy. Waiting for some rain. Nothing too soaking. More of an inconvenience for early-morning commuters. Showers will be done after 10 a.m. Friday. You will need that wet weather gear to keep you dry Friday morning. But, by the end of the day, you can safely pack it away for about a week or so!
FRIDAY: Cloudy skies persist. Friday’s daytime high will be in the low-40s. The daytime high temperature is slightly cooler than what New Jersey saw Thursday. Newark officially peaked at 46 degrees. South Jersey made it to 50.
WEEKEND: Wall-to-wall sunshine, but cooler temperatures. Daytime highs on Saturday will be around 43. Sunday highs around 45.
