Officials: Cyclist killed in collision with state trooper in Hackettstown

Officials say a male cyclist died after a New Jersey State Police trooper in an unmarked SUV collided with him Monday in Hackettstown. The Attorney General's Office is now investigating the fatal crash.
They say the incident happened around 6 a.m. on Willow Grove Street in the area of Brook Hollow Drive in Hackettstown. The man was transported to Hackettstown Medical Center where he later died.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the victim or the state trooper. They say the circumstances leading to and surrounding the crash are under investigation.
