Crews are searching the Round Valley Reservoir Wednesday for the bodies of six people, some of whom died more than 30 years ago.
Twenty-five people have died in the reservoir since the 1970s. The bodies of six of those individuals have still not been recovered. The most recent missing body dates back to 1993, the earliest to 1973.
State police say the weather and the water conditions are ideal for a search of the reservoir. They hope to find the bodies to bring closure to the families of the victims. As many as eight specially trained cadaver sniffing dogs will join 30 law enforcement officials in the search.
