In East Rutherford, crews have installed the pitch for the FIFA Club World Cup at MetLife Stadium.
It took more than 8,000 square meters of T-31 Bermuda grass, grown in Hammonton at Tuckahoe Turf Farms.
FIFA’s pitch manager says they’ve been working on this for more than a year.
The pitch will only be used for this five-week tournament. The first match is set for Sunday night.
