Coyote sightings were reported in multiple Livingston neighborhoods on Monday and over the weekend, including in areas near Heritage, Hillside and Harrison schools. In many cases, the residents who reported sightings were walking their dogs at the time of the encounter.

There were two coyote encounters on Wingate Drive in Livingston, a very woodsy neighborhood. Coyotes live in grasslands, forests and swampy areas.
