While many residents have regained their power Thursday, Con Ed crews are still working to restore electricity to those in the dark.
Throgs Neck residents have the power back, but are now demanding answers as to why it went out in the first place. Many say this was the third outage in two days and are blaming an overloaded transformer.
Meanwhile, some in University Heights spent the night on air conditioned buses because their homes had no power. While crews work to restore power to buildings and homes, Red Cross officials are also handing out food and water.
