The Perth Amboy community is rallying in support of the family of a woman allegedly killed by her husband.
The family of 40-year-old Rosana Rodriguez includes four young daughters.
Police say Rodriguez was killed by her husband, who has been identified as Wellinton Leonardo.
Officials say Perth Amboy police received a 911 call around 3 a.m. Saturday about a stabbing on Bertrand Avenue.
Officers found the couple lying on the kitchen floor.
Leonardo was charged with first-degree murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
Dozens of people came out to the Perth Amboy ferry slip Wednesday evening to support the Rodriguez family. The group stood together in prayer.
