A Colts Neck man is accused of aiming a laser at a plane three times during the height of New Jersey’s drone frenzy.

Police say James Pedone, 27, aimed a laser at a plane thinking it was a drone back in December.

If found guilty, Pedone could get five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
