FORECAST:
It's cold and windy today through Thursday with highs that struggle to get above freezing in most places. Winds are westerly-northwesterly at 15-25 mph with occasional gusts near 30 mph.
More clouds pass through on Thursday and can be capable of producing a rogue flurry. These flurries won't create an accumulation, but it will look like a little snow globe in Sussex and Warren counties at times. This flurry activity is coming from windswept clouds and not a "storm."
Temperature moderate back to the 40s on Friday and for the weekend as the windy weather stops.
Clouds build late Friday night ahead of Saturday where light rain is becoming probable.
Rain would happen Saturday night into early Sunday before taking a break on Sunday.
Sunday is the intermittent day with a mix of sun and clouds and brisk conditions. It remains in the mid-40s, though. The tail end of the Saturday front eventually pulled a coastal storm up the coast.
This coastal storm may send light snow showers to NJ for Monday morning. There could be an accumulation if this does occur. Granted, this will all depend on how Saturday's weather pans out first, so the focus right now is to track Saturday's rain.
