The United States Coast Guard, along with other agencies, led an exercise in homeland security Tuesday at the Port of New York & New Jersey.
Officials said there are no known threats in the area, and that the drills were purely for emergency preparation.
It combined local, state and federal resources to work out communication, planning and response.
