2h agoThe Coast Guard was called after a sailing vessel was spotted 200 yards offshore Sunday morning in Manasquan.
The Coast Guard says they could not see anyone on the ship and sent guardsmen to investigate. They found two people on board after they attempted to make contact.
According to Mid-Atlantic North Public Affairs, the two were transiting from Miami to Chicago and decided to anchor there for the night.
No violations were found upon inspection.
