As the Co-Op City Police Benevolent Association (PBA) enters the sixth day of its strike, members are planning to meet with residents Monday night.
The peace officers walked off the job last week after their contract expired. Attempts at negations were unresolved. The officers say assignments, work schedules and pensions are the major sticking points.
The PBA claims Riverbay Management, which runs the buildings, has inaccurately presented its contract demands to residents. A Riverbay spokesperson says the company has not inaccurately presented any information. Meanwhile, the PBA is scheduled to meet with residents Monday to discuss its contract demands. The meeting will be held at 1-20 Bellamy Loop at 7:30 p.m.
