Police in Morris County believe a serial bank robber has struck again, this time in Florham Township.
The Hudson City Savings Bank on James Street became the latest financial institution held up by a brazen thief. Police say the robber handed the teller a note demanding money Thursday evening. Authorities believe the robber followed the same pattern during eight previous robberies in Essex, Union and Morris counties since September 2006.
Surveillance photos at three locations show what could be the same man robbing the different banks. Police have noticed the robber only strikes between Thursday and Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Investigators have distributed information to all nine banks in the borough describing the robberies and the suspect.
