Residents in Ocean County are being encouraged to recycle their Christmas trees as part of their holiday cleanup.  

You can drop your tree off to be recycled at more than a dozen locations throughout Ocean County starting today until Jan. 1.  

More trees will go to the county recycling centers to be grinded into wood chips, which will then be offered to residents or used for county landscaping projects.
