One person is dead and another is behind bars after a Christmas Eve shooting that is tearing two New Jersey families apart.
Police say Javion Camacho, 20, is responsible for the shooting death of his cousin, 18-year-old Justin Gilyard, of Jersey City. Relatives say Gilyard was sleeping over Camacho?s house in Carteret when he was shot in Camacho?s bedroom. Camacho?s father says there is a lot of finger pointing and animosity between the two families. However, Camacho?s relatives insist the shooting wasn?t intentional.
Camacho has been charged with aggravated manslaughter. He is also facing weapons and drug charges. Camacho will likely remain at the Middlesex County Jail with his bail set at $475,000.
