Christmas came early for 75 Bronx children Saturday as they made their way into Manhattan to celebrate in true kids? style.
Famous toy store FAO Schwartz hosted the party for the first-graders as part of an after-school program. The Christmas party is thanks to the Fields Family Foundation in conjunction with the Good Shepherd Services. Richard Fields grew up in the Bronx and the party is his way of giving back to the neighborhood.
The kids were treated to food, song and a present from Santa. There are about 200 children in the Good Shepherd Services organization.
