A Chick-Fil-A, Wawa, and gas station are part of a proposal for a new shopping center in Freehold.
The proposal for Elton Plaza will go before the Freehold Planning Board Thursday at 7 p.m.
The project is slated for almost 15 acres on Route 524's northbound side.
The Chick-fil-A will have a drive-thru with up to 80 employees.
The Wawa will have four rows of fuel pumps for gasoline and diesel.
Some residents in town are concerned, since the project backs up against a residential neighborhood.
