The Monmouth County prosecutor announced Thursday that charges were filed against a 17-year-old in connection with the fatal Freehold car crash.
The crash in January claimed the lives of three Freehold High School students and the driver of a school transport minivan. Police believe speed played a factor in the crash. The teen charged in connection with the crash has been charged with reckless driving and speeding.
Meanwhile, police released the 911 call tapes from the crash Wednesday.
