Some local businesses in Somerville are offering incentives to people who can prove they've been vaccinated.

There is a twofold benefit to it: continuing to encourage vaccinations and help local businesses that have been struggling this year to attract customers.

At least a dozen businesses are offering incentives to customers who show their vaccination cards, and Turf, Surf & Earth is one of them. It’s been in business for only two years now, and to continue surviving, the owner is offering a discount to anyone who shows their vaccine card.
