The CDC issued new guidance for the holiday season aimed to help people celebrate safely.
Currently, about 65% of those eligible in the United States are fully vaccinated.
When it comes to celebrations, the CDC recommends keeping them virtual or limited to people you live with.
If you're seeing people you haven't seen in a while, it is recommended to celebrate outside or distanced.
Other tips include get vaccinated. If you're not, hold off on flying and wear a mask.
It's also important to keep your home well ventilated for indoor celebrations.
Dr. Anthony Fauci says it is too soon to give guidance on Christmas.
"It's just too soon to tell. We've just gotta concentrate on continuing to get those numbers down and not try to jump ahead by weeks or months and say what we're gonna do at a particular time," said Dr. Anthony Fauci.
