Officers say two men on the back of a moped fired gunshots outside 644 Wales Ave. Thursday around 7 p.m., striking a 28-year-old man in the left leg. The gun fire also sent a crowd of people in the location ducking for cover.
News 12 was told the two suspects were last seen heading eastbound on East 152 Street.
Police say the 28-year-old man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he is in stable condition.
Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest is asked to contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers.
