yesterdayA man was caught keying a Tesla in a Planet Fitness parking lot in Pompton Lakes. Video from the Tesla’s camera shows a man getting into his vehicle that was parked next to the Tesla. He then reached over and keyed the Tesla before getting into his car and driving away.
It is unclear what led up to the man keying the vehicle. The man who owns the Tesla told News 12 New Jersey over the weekend he doesn't know the person who did it.
The Tesla owner told News 12 he recently moved to New Jersey. He has since filed a police report but says he hasn’t heard from the police yet.
