They say Bronx commuters should drive slowly and check traffic alerts before leaving the house. They also advise drivers to check tire pressure and oil. Even with the higher than average fuel costs, Bronx residents say they are still willing to travel. AAA officials say the good news is gasoline prices have moderated since the start of summer.
