Parsippany school bus drivers are spending the weekend doing dry runs of their bus routes after hundreds of children were left stranded at home or dropped off late last week.
Student Transportation of America (STA), which has the contract to bus kids in Parsippany, ordered its drivers to go on the dry runs to make sure they know their routes.
STA says it hopes the dry runs will increase parents? and students? confidence in the bus company. They also want to avoid last week?s mishaps.
Some Parsippany parents say they feel better that the company is trying to correct the mistakes, but others say it?s too little too late. Parents say they are expecting better service when their children go back to school Monday.
