Two people were killed and several others injured when a car and bus collided in South Jersey.
NJ Transit confirms passengers were on the bus when it crashed in Pleasantville at approximately 2:30 p.m. Monday.
A car was headed north on Franklin Boulevard when it swerved, struck the bus and flipped around, according to police.
Two people inside the car were killed, and four others were taken to local hospitals. Several bus passengers were also injured.
Some of the injured were treated at the scene. Both Pleasantville and Absecon emergency crews responded to the crash.
The bus was traveling from Atlantic City to the Hamilton Mall.
