Police say burglars made off with more than $160,000 after stealing a Parsippany woman's safe.
The robbery happened at the home of Kailas Patel on Lisa Court. According to authorities, the thieves busted in the front door, cut the home's electrical lines and then carried out the 125-pound safe.
According to Patel, the safe contained $160,000 in cash, a vehicle title, passports and jewelry. The Morris County prosecutor has teamed up with Parsippany police on the case. They are asking anyone with information on the burglary to come forward.
