A Bronx woman has been arrested on mail fraud charges in connection with a million-dollar immigration scam. According to the U.S. Attorney office, Maria Maximo charged illegal immigrants $500 to $2,500 to file applications she claimed would result in green cards or work permits. Maximo worked out of a non-profit organization on Southern Boulevard. The U.S. Attorney General?s office is asking anyone with information to call 212-637-2554.
