? Some Bronx school bus drivers rallied at City Hall Sunday to protest their union leadership.
Members of the Local 1181 of the Amalgamated Transit Union say their president and secretary-treasurer were indicted and charged last year with extorting money and conspiring with a known crime family. Members say they do not feel their union bosses are equipped to represent them during upcoming contract negotiations. New York City school bus drivers want the international union to speak on their behalf.
The International union says it will not negotiate the contract because the board members have not been found guilty of the charges.
