(11/06/06) PARKCHESTER ? The 570,000 Bronx residents who are registered to vote have varied opinions about Tuesday's midterm elections.
Some say they are proud to be part of the democratic process and can?t wait to vote. Others claim they have a total lack of interest about the candidates and what they stand for. Even if residents do want to vote, it?s not always a clean-cut matter. Some people say there?s confusion about who is running for what, in addition to the correct location of their designated polling place.
Residents can?t register to vote on the same day of the election. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
