The Bronx man who admitted to slashing his wife to death with a samurai sword faced sentencing Tuesday.A judge sentenced Ivor Forbes to 18 1/2 years in jail for murdering his wife, Keisha Denton, 34. Forbes pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter and worked out a plea deal with the district attorney?s office. His lawyer says all experts agree that at the time of the slaying Forbes was psychotic.Three years ago, police were called to the couple's apartment, where they found Forbes naked and covered in blood. He had slashed Denton with a samurai sword. Denton?s family says they have forgiven Forbes.
