Bronx kids learn capoeira, Brazilian martial art

Many Bronx residents, especially children are participating in a Brazilian tradition known as capoeira. It's a martial art that was created by enslaved Africans in Brazil more than 500 years ago.

Many Bronx residents, especially children are participating in a Brazilian tradition known as capoeira.
It's a martial art that was created by enslaved Africans in Brazil more than 500 years ago.
Parents News 12 spoke with say they want their children to get a better understanding of capoeira and the Brazilian culture.
They say it's fun for the children while teaching them discipline.
