A Mount St. Michael Academy player and a John F. Kennedy High School player took gridiron honors at the Heisman High School All-Star Breakfast.
Mount quarterback Jason Holt, who was third in the league in scoring, was the player of the week for week one of the football season. Kennedy?s Stephfon Green snagged the honor in the second week after scoring five touchdowns and rushing for 330 yards in one game. Green later broke his ankle.
Green and Holt got to meet Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith, who is the quarterback for Ohio State. The players say it was an honor to attend the ceremony and talk to Smith.
