A man in Bridgewater found a poisonous copperhead snake under his trashcan.

The snake was discovered just blocks from where a woman was bit by a copperhead in July.

It is unclear if it is the same snake. However, officials warn residents to be careful and encourage people to wear leather shoes when hiking or walking in wooded areas.
