High-end vehicle thefts in New Jersey have become increasingly brazen, with one group striking three homes in a single hour over the weekend.
The first attempt occurred inside the garage of a home in Bamm Hollow Estates in Lincroft. Thieves first attempted to steal a car from the driveway and tried to get another inside.
When those attempts failed, they apparently decided to hit a home in Four Winds less than an hour later. The homeowner was inside and able to chase the group into a waiting vehicle.
Following that incident the suspects attempted to steal a vehicle parked on Dwight Road, before breaking into a home next door. They made off with a 2022 Land Rover, which was later recovered.
