A Boonton woman will spend about six months in prison after pleading guilty to animal cruelty charges.

A Boonton woman will spend about six months in prison after pleading guilty to animal cruelty charges.
Tonya Fea pleaded guilty on Aug. 12 for the 2019 incident.
Law enforcement officials began investigating Fea after a golden retriever puppy was found dead in a crate along the bank of the Greenwood Pond in West Milford.
Fea will also serve five years of probation, will be required to perform 100 hours of community service and won’t be able to own any dogs in the future.
