Police arrested a suspect Thursday in the murder of a Harrington Park woman whose body was tossed in a West New York dumpster.
Police believe Draymond Coleman, 35, either lured or forced Jennifer Moore, 18, from Manhattan to Hudson County, where he beat and strangled her. Moore was last seen walking alone along the West Side Highway in New York City Tuesday after a night of clubbing. Moore exited the club, but found her car was impounded. After being separated from a friend, she began walking along the West Side Highway, where she called her boyfriend. He urged her to take a taxi home. That was the last time anyone heard from her.
Police say the Weehawken hotel where Coleman lives is only a few blocks from the dumpster where Moore?s body was found. Coleman is being held on $2 million bail. His girlfriend has also been arrested and is charged with hindering apprehension.
