State police say a body recovered on May 22 off the coast of Sandy Hook Beach has been identified as Corey McFadden.
McFadden, 33, was reported missing about a month ago after he failed to show up for work as a U.S. Postal Service carrier in Lower Township in Cape May County. About 100 miles away, Wall Township police found his car abandoned on the shoulder of the parkway near milepost 96 in Monmouth County on April 30.
The cause of McFadden’s death has not yet been determined.
