A body of a man was found inside the trunk of a vehicle in Lakewood, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced Thursday.

The body was found Wednesday around noon in the area of Fairview Court.

“There is no known danger to the public, and additional information will be released when it becomes available," Billhimer said in a statement.
